How it works
Send your song
A link or a file — a demo is fine, so is a rough backing track. The tempo and two or three references you like go a long way.
We talk it through
An online call about what the song actually needs: the character of the groove, how big the drums should feel, what role they play in the arrangement. Most of it gets decided here.
I record
A real kit, recorded with microphones in my own studio. I pick the snare and cymbals for the song — that usually matters more than anything done later in the mix.
Tracks in your inbox
Finished stems, laid out and clearly named, ready to mix. Within a day, not within a week.
What you get
- Drum stems from a full microphone setup, in sync with your song.
- A sound committed at the recording stage, not bolted on with plugins afterwards.

The studio
I work in my own attic studio: top-class microphones and preamps, vintage and modern kits, a full rack of cymbals to choose from. Everything runs in Pro Tools.
I shape the sound while recording — by choosing the right drum, the right microphone and the right spot in the room. That is why the stems you get already sound like something before anyone touches them in the mix.
